Welcome to the next installment of my short story, Escape. If you’re new here, read from the beginning here. Escape is set in the same world as my latest release, Trust in Me.
This Tiffany was solemn, beautiful, and coming toward him. He’d hoped never to see her again, but he couldn’t deny the lick of pleasure at the sight of her—strong and healthy. Maybe that was worst part, the things she stirred in him, dark and carnal.
“Are you going to use that, mister?” she asked.
He glanced at his hand, where he’d pointed the gun at the ground. “What the hell are you doing here?”

Great six!
What a way to say hello, lol. I love this serial, Skye.
Great six – love his inner conflict and then her greeting.
So weird to see her like this. I’m completely intrigued and look forward to next week.
Now that was an awesome six! Great job. I want to know more. I love his conflict and need to know why he feels this way. Really good.
Six sentences are never enough for this story! Great meeting between these two, though he hardly seems happy to see her. (I know he has his reasons.) I’m just waiting for more.
Such contrasts in desires and dialog. Nice.
What a great, bold question she asked him. Love your use of “dark and carnal.” Enticing six!
I know he hoped, b/c of what she makes him remember, but man, it’s so entertaining. She called him mister
Those last two lines, the tension, fabulous!!
Such a great story, but this six-sentences-at-a-time business is killing me!
